For September 2010 The Sugar Creek Art Center Welcomes
Rosalind Francis Daily - Originally from Clay City Indiana and now currently residing in Jamestown, North Carolina. Rosalind is a full time artist that draws her inspiration from nature and the lives that surround her.
Rosalind’s works are in private collections and being exhibited throughout the United States. Her formal training at Eastern Michigan University, and Vincennes University as well as several professional workshops has resulted in great versatility in media and style. Her versatility was further enhanced in clay modeling and bronze casting as an understudy to Mustafa Naguib, internationally known sculptor of Egypt.
With an artistic range that includes Sculpture, Watercolor, Oils and handcrafted pottery, more recently adding artisticly enhanced Photography to her accomplishments. The ability to channel her formal trainings along with her natural skills enables her to achieve a rare expression of mood and design in her work.
Culture at the Creek - Sept. 10th, 2010, 6-9pm. The opening reception for Rosalind’s works will include your opportunity to meet the artist, tour the Art Center, and enjoy food from the Nine Irish Brothers who will be there offering food for purchase at very reasonable prices.
