Sugar Creek Culture at the Creek Summer Exhibit and Fair

~~Calling all Artist

Sugar Creek Art Center hosts a gallery exhibit each month and the opening reception is on the 2nd Friday night of the month. This month we won’t to change it up and have a little art fair to partner with our Cultures at the Creeks event.
So the Sugar Creek Art Center is inviting artists that have a tent to come and set up on the sidewalk in front of the art center during our Culture at the Creek night (plus I have an overflow area in a lot on the main street if needed).
The Art Center would love to be invaded by some plein air painters on Friday, July 14th to come and paint in the areas well.
I will open up a building that I own on the main street and my shop if needed to set the paintings out that evening for sale.
NO COST – just come
If you are interested please go to summerarts.corsizio.com and click on Sugar Creek Culture at the Creek Summer Exhibit and Fair to register so that we can a good idea of the number of people that will be attending.

 Studio Rental

The Art Center has artist studios available to rent! Contact us (765.436.7102) to find out more. At this time, all the studio spaces in our main building are full, but we are taking names for a wait list, and have three new spaces available which would be great for studios with a retail component.

“Sugar Creek Art Center was a wonderful place to mount a show of my work. The Center, with its gift shop, studios, classrooms and museum, is a vibrant cultural attraction for folks in the Thorntown area. There were concurrent events at the Center the night of my opening, which brought many visitors to the building and gallery. The airy and bright exhibition space on the second floor is an artist’s dream and the staff is friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that there are other small galleries in the building belonging to the various artists who rent studio space in the Center. (And don’t even get me started on the white grand piano…)”
–Jeanne Zeigler, visiting artist.
