Ride to the Top Campaign

With your support, we were able to reach our goal of $75,000! Because of you, the Art Center will be able to replace the freight-only elevator! Thank you to everyone!

For over 50 years, the E.R. Jaques & Co. building has been symbolic with the progress of Thorntown, IN and as home to Sugar Creek Art Center, the organization continues to enhance the community’s cultural enjoyment.

To fully utilize this historic 3-story structure, please help support the Sugar Creek Art Center’s endeavor to replace the existing 106 year old freight-only elevator. By not only providing access to persons with limited mobility, with your support, the access to all floors will open a whole new venue towards our mission to enrich the lives of our citizens.

Our Community Foundation of Boone County has provided a “Challenge Grant”, matching dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000! Half the cost for a newly installed elevator.

Together, we can meet Sugar Creek Art Center’s “RIDE TO THE TOP” challenge with your generous donation.

Every tax-deductible donation is one step closer in replacing full access to this historic building.
