A new show has been hung in the Main Gallery at Sugar Creek Art Center for the month of December.  This show is entitled “Our Own” and it is a representation of Sugar Creek Art Center’s artists.  It is a multi-media expression of different mediums of art from three dimensional objects to oils, pencils, watercolors, fabric painting, glass blowing, ceramics, and acrylics.  The many talents of these featured artists from Sugar Creek Art Center are awesome and inspiring and worth the time to come in and view.  The exhibit will be on display throughout December and the first of the new year. 

The featured artists include:  Jan Brunner, Scott Kinzie, Lynne Medsker, Diane Gardner, Marian Zellers, Ellen Reinke, Kae Mentz, Ed. Rice, Alyce Miller, Vicki Wynberg, Mary McCartney-Jones, Audrey Elaine Owens Krawcryk, Axie Frey, Darlene York Trout, Suzie Endres, Bob Brehmer, Jerry Thompson, and Ro Daily.

Culture at the Creek Reception - Dec. 9, 2011 from 6-9 There will be a reception honoring all the SCAC artists. Poe's Catering Co. will be serving a traditional Christmas Dinner that evening with all the trimmings including dessert for only $10. There will be vendors present with merchandise for purchase and Christmas music by local musicians for your enjoyment. See you at the Sugar Creek Art Center for this fun filled evening.
